HUMBLE TIGER LLC ("Humble Tiger," "we," "us," or "our") operates humblearttigers.com and provides in-person art classes, workshops, open studio time, private events, gift passes, and related customer support.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you may have. It applies to visitors, students, parents or guardians, gift purchasers, and anyone who contacts us through the website.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you contact us or request a class seat, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, enrollment type, class interests, experience level, schedule preferences, and anything you choose to include in the message field.

If you enroll a child or teen, we ask that a parent or guardian provide the information. You may share age, allergy, accessibility, or safety notes when they help us run the class safely.

Payment and purchase information

When online payments are available, payment details are handled by a third-party payment provider. We may receive transaction records such as amount paid, date, receipt information, refund status, billing contact details, and limited payment method details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Website and device information

Our website and hosting tools may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this information to keep the site secure, debug errors, and understand general site performance.

How We Use Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to questions and class reservation requests.
  • Confirming class dates, schedules, materials, receipts, cancellations, credits, and refunds.
  • Providing safe studio experiences, including accommodations or allergy notes you choose to share.

If we send optional marketing emails in the future, we will provide an unsubscribe method. Transactional emails about reservations, payments, class logistics, or policy updates are not marketing emails.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, our legal bases may include:

  • Contract necessity: to respond to reservations, provide classes, process purchases, and deliver customer support.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and protect our studio and website.

  • Enrollment, attendance, payment, refund, tax, and accounting records: usually up to 7 years.
  • Safety, incident, dispute, or legal records: as long as needed to resolve the matter and meet legal obligations.
  • Website logs: usually up to 12 months unless needed for security, fraud prevention, or debugging.
  • Consent records: usually up to 24 months after the latest choice, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a compliance issue.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS, limited access, vendor review, data minimization, and administrative controls. Payment card details are handled through payment provider systems designed for card-data security standards.

No website, email, or payment system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will investigate and notify affected people or authorities when required.

Some classes may be appropriate for children or teens, but the website is intended for use by adults. A parent or guardian should submit any enrollment request for a child under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online. If you believe a child provided information without parent or guardian consent, contact us and we will delete it when appropriate.

International Visitors

We are based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or by service providers in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
