Overview
HUMBLE TIGER LLC ("Humble Tiger," "we," "us," or "our") operates humblearttigers.com and provides in-person art classes, workshops, open studio time, private events, gift passes, and related customer support.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the rights you may have. It applies to visitors, students, parents or guardians, gift purchasers, and anyone who contacts us through the website.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you contact us or request a class seat, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, enrollment type, class interests, experience level, schedule preferences, and anything you choose to include in the message field.
If you enroll a child or teen, we ask that a parent or guardian provide the information. You may share age, allergy, accessibility, or safety notes when they help us run the class safely.
Payment and purchase information
When online payments are available, payment details are handled by a third-party payment provider. We may receive transaction records such as amount paid, date, receipt information, refund status, billing contact details, and limited payment method details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Website and device information
Our website and hosting tools may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this information to keep the site secure, debug errors, and understand general site performance.
How We Use Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Responding to questions and class reservation requests.
- Confirming class dates, schedules, materials, receipts, cancellations, credits, and refunds.
- Providing safe studio experiences, including accommodations or allergy notes you choose to share.
- Processing payments, preventing fraud, and resolving billing issues.
- Maintaining business, tax, accounting, and legal records.
- Improving the website, services, class offerings, and customer support.
- Protecting the website, students, staff, and studio from abuse or security incidents.
If we send optional marketing emails in the future, we will provide an unsubscribe method. Transactional emails about reservations, payments, class logistics, or policy updates are not marketing emails.
Legal Bases for Processing
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, our legal bases may include:
- Contract necessity: to respond to reservations, provide classes, process purchases, and deliver customer support.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, improve, and protect our studio and website.
- Consent: when you choose to provide optional information or opt in to optional communications.
- Legal obligations: when we keep records for tax, accounting, consumer protection, safety, dispute, or compliance purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. If optional marketing or advertising tools are enabled, some disclosures may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain U.S. privacy laws. You can turn Marketing off from Cookie Settings or Your Privacy Choices.
We may share information with:
- Payment providers that process payments, refunds, fraud checks, and receipts.
- Website hosting, email, form, scheduling, analytics, storage, and security providers.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, banks, and legal advisers.
- Government, law enforcement, courts, or regulators when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.
- A successor organization if we reorganize, merge, sell, or transfer part of the business.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a first-party consent system to control optional cookies, pixels, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies. Necessary technologies are always active. Functional, Analytics, and Marketing tools load only when allowed by the consent rules for your region or your saved browser choice.
Marketing is turned off when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. See our Cookie Policy for category definitions, examples, and controls.
Consent, GPC, and Privacy Choices
You can open Cookie Settings from the footer at any time. In regions where opt-in consent is required, optional categories are off until you allow them. In other regions, defaults may be enabled unless you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
Your Privacy Choices opens directly to Marketing controls. Turning Marketing off suppresses ad signals, targeted advertising pixels, marketing conversion events, and review or testimonial widgets controlled by the consent system.
We keep a first-party consent record with an anonymous browser ID, policy version, consent category state, region signal, GPC state, and timestamp so we can honor and audit your choices. We do not use the anonymous consent ID as an advertising ID.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Contact and class inquiry records: usually up to 24 months after the last interaction.
- Enrollment, attendance, payment, refund, tax, and accounting records: usually up to 7 years.
- Safety, incident, dispute, or legal records: as long as needed to resolve the matter and meet legal obligations.
- Website logs: usually up to 12 months unless needed for security, fraud prevention, or debugging.
- Consent records: usually up to 24 months after the latest choice, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a compliance issue.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS, limited access, vendor review, data minimization, and administrative controls. Payment card details are handled through payment provider systems designed for card-data security standards.
No website, email, or payment system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will investigate and notify affected people or authorities when required.
Children and Teens
Some classes may be appropriate for children or teens, but the website is intended for use by adults. A parent or guardian should submit any enrollment request for a child under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online. If you believe a child provided information without parent or guardian consent, contact us and we will delete it when appropriate.
International Visitors
We are based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or by service providers in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, contact us at art@humblearttigers.com or call +1 (307) 288-4057. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, request correction, opt out of sale or sharing, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
Use Your Privacy Choices in the footer to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, ad measurement signals, advertising pixels, and marketing conversion events for this browser. If Global Privacy Control is active, Marketing is locked off.
In the last 12 months, we may have collected identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet or network activity, and sensitive information you voluntarily provide for safety or accessibility needs. We use those categories for the business purposes described in this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be announced by email or a prominent website notice when appropriate.
